Ashley Cole is reportedly set to become a father for the first time.
The AS Roma footballer and his Italian girlfriend Sharon Canu are due to welcome a baby boy in March, according to The Sun On Sunday.
The
34-year-old sports star - who was famously married to Cheryl
Fernandez-Versini - is said to be 'over the moon' about the impending
new arrival and is especially delighted his first child will be a boy.
The Italian
model - who is allegedly six months pregnant - was first spotted out
clubbing with the former Chelsea player back in June.
Sharon is thought to be a very 'sweet' and down-to-earth girl who hails from a good Italian family.
Ashley's ex Cheryl is claimed to have already discovered the news, but didn't hear it directly from her ex-husband.
