EFCC: 5 People Arrested For Selling Rice Meant For IDPs

A Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture in Mafa Local Government in Borno and four others have been arrested over alleged diversion of 300 bags of rice for Internally Displayed Persons.

According to NAN, the spokesman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, in a statement on Thursday said that the rice was donated to the IDPs by Danish Refugee Council, an NGO.
